Notes
This show was opened by Peter Cooper and Molly Thomas who both joined Todd for several songs in his set.
The crowd is singing along with Todd during Tension -- he tries to let them go on their own for the chorus but they quickly fade. Todd laughs and replies, "I'm not even sure what that middle part is myself."
On Alright Guy, Todd plays the third verse first and the first verse third (see variations below).
Todd's tour manager, Dave Hixx, shared a mic with Molly Thomas at the end of the show during Back in the USA.
Variations
On Tension:
"...we like our bad guys dead. Preferably after some kind of car chase."
"People still dig drugs. It smelled like somebody was doing some over by that door [gestures towards green room]. We told security, but I don't know if they did anything about it yet. In Europe they call them 'hooligans.'"
"Queers getting married....."
On Ballad of the Kingsmen:
"Now he gets a lot of chicks. They're weird chicks. But they're chicks."
"It's not gonna be 'cause of something that Eminem says in his song."
On Alright Guy:
"Just the other night, you know, these cops pulled me over outside of this bar. They turned on their lights and said, 'Hey, son, you know the song really hasn't gone on that far."
"...it ain't like I went on national television and did something worse than that."
"I had that magazine that had the pictures of number one hit song goddamn star Jack Ingram and I was checking it out. Just then a friend of mine came through the door. Said she never pegged me for a country fan before."
On Doublewide Blues:
"I don't get out much since the reenactment of the Michael Jackson trial came on."
