Notes
Rachel Owen opened this show.
One person in the crowd is particularly obnoxious as he continues to yell random song lines to Todd between songs. Finally, after Ballad of the Kingsmen, Todd responds with "Stop yelling at me. You can't boss me around." The crowd remains somewhat talkative which draws some shushes from others in attendance. During the story Todd is trying to tell before Rose City, he stops and says "It's okay. You don't have to shush each other. That's more distracting than the talking. And everybody paid the same fuckin' price. So you can probably hear me even if people are talking. Just don't shush each other. There's this bar in Nashville called the Bluebird where they shush you all the fuckin' time. Fuck a bunch of songs. That's what I say."
After D.B. Cooper, Todd drags out the story for Play a Train Song a bit while he tunes his guitar.
Conservative Christian... is sent out to "anybody who's a member of the homosexual community. [Todd] would like to remind you that [he] play[s] weddings."
At one point in the show, Todd makes a comparison between Headliner's and another place in Louisville he refers to as "Phoenix" (probably the Phoenix Hill Tavern).
Variations
On Tension:
"People still dig drugs. I was in the parking lot for at least a half hour watching ya'll before the show. And some of you just came in a few minutes ago. But that's alright. I understand. I, too, have taken some drugs in my life. I was in the parking lot, too."
"Drugs are literally bigger these days, they are provenly bigger than even Rush Limbaugh."
"Homosexuals getting married. That's what scares people that don't have enough shit to be scared about anyway these days."
On Ballad of the Kingsmen:
"And now he gets a lot of chicks. They're weird chicks. But they're chicks."
On Alright Guy:
"Hey, Old Timer, we're gonna have to ask you to step out of the car."
