Review by Jim Mino:

The Birmingham Al. Museum summer Art on the Rocks show was well attended by some 2500 + . The outdoor stage was set up with 250 chairs and all were full with at least another 250+ people gathered around for the 8:00 pm start of the concert. East Nashville's Josie Kuhn who said she was Todd's neighbor opened the show with a six song set which lasted untill 8:20. Todd appeared on stage at about 8:35 wearing his recent trademark Hat, Jacket with tie a la " That Was Me" CD cover.
Todd was not in a story telling mode this concert but chose to just Sing. He did briefly mention that his dad always said he graduated form USC even though he never went there prior to going into Side show blues . On Easy Money he let the crowd fill in the Lyrics when she never saw that f***** again -- cleaned up performance for the museum crowd I guess. The crowd was young, the red wine flowing and I guess Todd figured they just wanted to hear him sing.. I had 4 Todd newbies in attendance and had hoped for more story telling. During the encore our beloved folk singer forgot the words to Blowin' in the Wind...
